Erik Wissig: Erik Wissig serves as chief financial officer of Hixme Insurance Solutions, a technology-enabled health benefits startup in Agoura Hills, California, committed to “bringing back the benefit”. He has been with the company since 2013. As a member of the founding executive team, Erik Wissig focuses on corporate development and strategy as well as capital raising and operations management. In this position, he also manages outside relationships with strategic partners. He has successfully raised more than $12 million in seed and series A venture capital from several investors, including Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Previously, Erik Wissig was chief financial officer of Nationwide Medical, also in Agoura Hills, where he led business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. He has also lent his expertise to investments banking groups of Duff & Phelps Corporation and BDO Seidman, both in Los Angeles. Mr. Wissig holds a bachelor of arts in business economics and German from the University of California, Santa Barbara as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation with the CFA Institute.
